The stay was okay I guess I was there with my husband and I guess it was okay man
This hotel is closed. We had three rooms booked because my whole family went to Baton Rouge for the LSU game. When we got to the hotel the doors were bordered up and there was a fence surrounded the whole thing. When I called La Quinta they said the hotel was closed because it was hit by a hurricane. There has not been a hurricane in the month since I booked the rooms. I asked him why they didn’t contact us to let us know and he said that wasn’t possible.
It was as expected for the price. Cleaning didn’t happen, carpet in room was damp everywhere. But again, was about what I assumed when booking. Very convenient location.

Nos dieron una habitación con bichos en la nevera pero nos cambiaron inmediatamente a una en mejor Estado. La mujer de recepción un encanto. Esta viejito pero el precio es muy razonable.
Suite Room was a mess! Felt like an employee was using it to sleep in and ran out when they heard someone was coming up. Towels still in the floor, coke bottle on the night stand, tv still on, bed was all a mess, absolutely disgusting. The clerk at the desk was nice enough to give me a cheap rate on a regular room. However, even that room smelled like someone was just in there smoking. I’ll never stay at any La Quinta Inn ever again.

We stayed at this property two weeks ago and it was awesome. Hardwood floors, the beds were super comfortable, and everything was clean. This past weekend the room was completely different. Carpet floors, the beds were awful and the room reeked of smoke! I don’t know if maybe they are slowly renovating or what, but we won’t stay there again!
Hotel was completely filthy and unsleepable. It was supposed to be a non smoking room. Smelled of mildew and smoke . I walked in and walked out and canecelled reservation. I expect a refund.

Close to the highway and people were fantastic! The property is a little older, but everything works and the beds are comfy.
The room initially looked okay, but it was hot. I arrived turned on the air and left for work (night shift) When I came back the next morning it had cooled down some but not much. I called the front desk and maintenance came and "fixed" the air. It was a little cooler but it was still cooler outside than inside. oh and to top it all off...I woke up to a roach crawling up my back while I was sleeping. Never again!
Not very clean location. Late night could be bit scary with some of the characters hanging out outside. They could have used some security to patrol outside.
Do not stay there.
Fri., Oct 18 water from faucet seemed cloudy. Toilet bowl had accumulated noticeable rust sediment or waste back-flow. I went to desk to call attn to possible water problem and asked for bottled water to drink for the night. She refused. After my protest, finally, gave me 1 bottle. I asked why could I not have a 2nd? She denied any responsibility for owing me anything or for providing water to me (or anyone other than her VIP guests who rated 1 bottle upon check-in.) We argued. I lost my temper and she then evicted me and ordered me off the property. A 78-yr-old woman should not be wandering around looking for a room. I refused and she called police who escorted me to another hotel. I will take up this incident w/owner of this franchise. Meanwhile, do not stay there.
Everything was nice and i really dont know of anything that could be added besides better breakfast the breakfast was not good at all but everything else was a plus in my book yes i do see my self booking here again. It was very clean and very fresh smelling

The property was close to LSU. That is the reason we chose it. Upon my arrival, there was a memo on the counter that stated the property had new ownership and apologized for any inconvenience. Stayed there 2 days too long and will not return to this property.
Staff was great at the desk. The property is worn and tired and our room smelled of cover up cleaners and was damp and dank. The pool was great but that was about it.
Nasty room I didn't stay no other rooms available. Never again.
