Lobby is very small. Rooms are small but fine for a discount hotel. I like the mini kitchen! Rooms were fine for cleanliness. Lots of people just hanging around the front of the hotel, which felt a little odd. Love that first pet is free, $15 for additional pet

It smelled strongly of bleach but tub was still not clean. Found dead bug in the floor. No notice that a mask policy had been reinstated so went in without it. Breakfast was a zero choice go back that was not diabetic friendly.

Saw small roaches in the bathroom after showering. The shower doesn’t drain while you taking a shower. There was NO smoke detector in room 219. There was no remote control in the room and when given one it still didn’t work. When returning to our room after the LSU game there were 3 young children laid out in the hallway laughing and rolling all over the hallway possibly drunk…kinda weird and nasty not knowing what’s on the floor.

Rooms were absolutely disappointing. Ours was dirty, restroom mirror had dry toothpaste on it and bugs crawling up the wall and did I mention the beds were small. Drainage from the shower was extremely slow and to make things worse, the toilet clogged. (3am) Staff had no plunger and was not at all willing to accommodate in anyway until they saw us downstairs at 4am packed and ready to leave. At that point we were offered another room, a little too late as we were already dressed, upset and basically just done with the hotel itself.

We arrived after the LSU football game to learn they oversold for the night even though we had booked far in advance. We were thankfully given a room but my husband and I and our teen daughter had to share one bed. When we asked why the happened we were basically told it was because we booked through Expedia. We requested to speak with a manager the woman working was quite rude. We were told we would be called on Monday. So far...a week later... no call. In addition, the area felt quite unsafe. There is a house next door that has people loitering outside at all hours of the day and night. They spill over onto the hotel property. When we arrived after the LSU game (after 1:00 a.m.), they were walking around the parking lot with ski masks. (In Louisiana in early October when it is 80+ degrees out). I understand they have a right to be on their property but nothing is done by the hotel to keep them off hotel property.
