"Great family escape! Lovely quiet lake home with direct lake access for swimming and fishing. Tranquil mornings and evenings. Well equipped kitchen and well stocked game room with supplies for indoor and outdoor fun for all ages. The fire pit is excellent and garage for grilling and meal prep outstanding. Our 4 generations all found things to do and there was room around the tables for all 18 of us. Plenty of seating. Unfortunately, our July stay coincided with a week of extreme heat warnings, and we were unable to use the bunk room, which has no AC. This cabin is uniquely situated, panoramic vistas of Round Lake, and would be splendid all year round."

"Mint House is a wonderful property to stay in. It is attractively decorated, comfortable & roomy for gatherings. Nicely stocked in kitchen & bathrooms, especially loved the coffee nook. Landscaping & outdoor living spaces were also appreciated. Property is perfect for families or a good friends reunion, as in our case.Its location was ideal, walkable to downtown restaurants/shops, the lake, & museums. Battle Lake is beautiful relaxing lake town. Communication with the owners was admirable; their quick response to our every inquiry was appreciated. The 7 of us all enjoyed our stay at Mint House & our only regret is that we did not have more time to stay & enjoy. Thank you, Justin & Krissa, for sharing the Mint House!"

"The overall experience was wonderful. The rooms were quiet and the staff was extremely helpful, especially Ashley. I would recommend some upgrades as parts of the hotel seemed outdated. Another recommendation is to have the "bump" fixed where you enter the parking lot as it can cause some damage to vehicles."

"Nice motel off the interstate. Room was clean. Near chain restaurants. Not too far from downtown. Was able to see the Otto the 40' long otter in a short drive."

"We had a wonderful time. The cabin was very clean and homey. Kitchen had what we needed for cooking meals. Do recommend bringing your own spices and cooking oil or spray for cooking. As they only have the basics like salt and pepper. The outdoor patio chairs could use help as the mesh on them definitely show sun damage, the picnic table on the other hand was very sturdy and appeared to be fairly new. All and all we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the different water toys available to tour around the lake. Will definitely be considering staying again."
