"The property was quiet, but the AC unit in our room, rattled, knocked, and made allot of noise. The fan was annoying like a dripping faucet, the vibration of the unit and the start and stop of the unit made loud knocking noises, it is in need of repair or replacement. My husband enjoyed the breakfast every morning, said the eggs were very good. I used the exersice room, noticed a plug in scent diffuser, and not a good thing for someone with scent sensitivity. We did not use the pool or hot tub. The night before we left their was a family with very small children, high screaching and crying late into the night."

The Mill Hotel

"Wow!! What a cool place to stay! This old school, century old mill has been refurbished into an incredible hotel. Everything inside has been restored and is super modern. The room fixtures, furniture and appliances are top notch. Hotel has a historic/Modern feel with historic photos along the walls, a few antiques here and there in a very nice updated interior in the room. Beds are comfortable, bathroom had plenty of amenities and towels, the AC and fans we're cranking out.Nice cool air on a 90 degree day in the retro, modern refrigerator and coffee station were the cherry on top. A nice quiet location and across the street on Saturdays.There's a really neat farmer's market. Checking in was breeze as we got a simple access code to enter the building and our room. Carts in the lobby to bring in our luggage and vending machine and a great ice machine down on the main floor. Very quiet and cozy. We will stay again and again when we are in the area. Well done Mill!!"

"This was our second time staying here and we absolutely love it! Great fishing, kayaking, and swimming in the lake. Tons of outdoor and indoor games to play and just a short drive to Battle Lake. The place was clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here!"

Unwind on Beautiful Lake Ethel in Otter Tail County, MN!

"We had a wonderful time. The cabin was very clean and homey. Kitchen had what we needed for cooking meals. Do recommend bringing your own spices and cooking oil or spray for cooking. As they only have the basics like salt and pepper. The outdoor patio chairs could use help as the mesh on them definitely show sun damage, the picnic table on the other hand was very sturdy and appeared to be fairly new. All and all we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the different water toys available to tour around the lake. Will definitely be considering staying again."

"It was a great place. Vary good location. We stayed when vary hot so fishing was not good. Vary good host. Would recommend this place. My family had a great time. Would stay agin for sure. Beautiful house. Party room in garage great idea! Everything you need to cook was there. Only minor complaint ice maker in fridge dint work."
