"We were completely shocked at the state of the room. We requested the best they had, yet there were dead bugs on the sheets, a blood stain on the bed! And toothbrush residue splattered all over the bathroom mirror. We took pictures and I let the staff (a woman who remained on her phone during the entire conversation) know. "The rooms were not clean. There was cobwebs and spiders everywhere, in the bedrooms and eating areas. Quite a frightening experience. The other problem was there is no direct road access to the hotel, cars will have to stop outside along the roadside and the luggage and bags will have to be unloaded at the roadside. "Absolutely enjoyed being tucked away, up in the jungles, overlooking the Ayung River. The service and the staff were truly amazing. I loved the option to take the free shuttle into the city center daily. I also enjoyed the food!! They had great prices that were comparable based on what you ordered!! I spent my birthday dinner at the resort for their sea food special as well as the traditional dance!! The live music & food was great! Free breakfast options are yummy… I stayed 5 days and would definitely come back!! Thank you to everyone who made my 39th birthday, a great solo trip!! "
