"Room was clean and hotel was nice. We had a room with a fireplace and jacuzzi but had no instructions on how to turn on the fireplace or could not figure ot out. It was chilly that weekend and it would have been nice to use it."

"This is a reasonably priced basic motel so it doesn’t have a lot of amenities but it does have a well cared for property and is a very clean and comfortable place to spend the night. It was a good place to take our dog with a nice large backyard area. We enjoyed the quick check-in and checkout arrangement which didn’t need in person staff although they were available by phone. Our room didn’t seem to have air conditioning but the evening was cool enough to have windows open. We stayed there last week one night and we were pleased to go back again for another night on our way back home. We would be happy to stay there again. "

"I stayed with my husband and our two teen kids and we had a great time! The cabin is cozy and warm and the beds were very comfortable. It was a great place to chill by the lake and have a fire at night. "

"Easy check in, clerk was friendly. Room clean. Parking easy, enough spaces. Only thing I noticed…NO hair dryer in the room! Oh well! Lots of trains passing through so lots of horns blowing! "

"Perfect! It was exactly as described & the photos are up to date. Host & property manager were extremely helpful & easy to contact. Location afforded multiple opportunities for adventure & long meandering walks with the dog. Van Cleve Park directly across the street, is extensive & on the waterfront/ beach. Also took a couple of day hikes before our arrival & while staying at nearby Days River Natural Area. You will not be disappointed in this property. "

"Great little spot to relax with friends or family. Very easy to find and close to a lot of food options and hiking. Felt very remote without being in the middle of nowhere. "
