"From the moment we arrived, Céline and Jérôme were nothing but helpful, thoughtful and kind. They went above and beyond to assist us. The morning breakfast was always delicious and plentiful. They gladly provided us with information on places to go and see including restaurant recommendations. Our room was spacious, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. "The B&B is a large farmhouse with two family suites on the upper level, a large kitchen and living room on the lower level. Our suite had two bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom has a king bed and sofa, the other has two single beds. We had use of the living room and kitchen during our stay. The couple that own the B&B are extremely nice. "This wonderful property sits in the heart of Bayeux with ample parking. Surrounded by a beautiful walled garden, this former convent has a unique and relaxing atmosphere. Our hosts, Gilles and Michael were most helpful and genuinely nice people to talk to. Breakfasts were first rate and I am so happy that we booked to stay here. "We have thought hard about this review because the people that run the hotel are very nice people who are very welcoming. Despite the language barrier Ginette was great and spoke better English than we did French. However, the issues were with the room itself. When we entered the room it actually looked great with the bedroom being separate and up one flight of stairs but there was a damp musty smell that we thought may have just been from being closed. "Charming villa in a perfect location to explore the Normandy Beaches and surrounding areas. Only a few minutes to Arromanches (even walkable) and Bayeux. The room was spacious and beautifully furnished, with so many thoughtful details. Friendly and accommodating hosts, and the breakfast was delicious. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer!"

"Outdoor pool is heated. Property is right next to ocean and easy to walk to local restaurants. Note that you should make reservations in advance for the local restaurants as they are small and can be full."
