"We could not do the visit due to a family emergency and needed to move the dates of our stay.. We had been scheduled to stay in one of the junior suites and were excited and looking forward to our trip. When approached regarding moving our stay the hotel staff were blunt, unhelpful and refused to even consider moving our visit to another date over the summer. "The location of the hotel was perfect. It was right in the middle of the main street with lots of dining options nearby. The hotel was also quiet and had a spacious breakfast area. We enjoyed the World War II artifacts throughout the hotel. It was like a mini museum in the hotel. There was also a little grocery store right next-door, which was handy for getting water bottles and snacks. The hotel also offered a shuttle to Mont Saint Michel and the meeting place for our World War II tour was just around the corner from the hotel. It was about a 10 minute flat walk from the train station."
