We were impressed with the quality and comfort of this hotel, close to the motorway for a one night stay during an extended trip in France. The town and the hotel were magnificent.

The hotel setting is one of a kind. It's a very old fortress that was converted to a beautiful 4 stars hotel. Everything was done to provide all the comfort you would expect from a luxurious hotel while maintaining the structure intact. It has great character and beautiful and tasteful decoration. The view from the windows is great as well. It is in a walking distance from all the attractions of this small town. The breakfast was superb as everything else in the hotel.

Excellent location located on the grande plage. The receptionist and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. Very nice would go back.

We loved staying at this hotel - our bedroom was beautiful (and huge), combining old charm with modern beauty (bathroom was nicely updated). The front desk staff was very nice and helpful - they helped us figure out the local bus system to go to an indoor spa just outside of town on a rainy day when we could not go to the beach and gave us good restaurant recommendations for dinner! The room was very clean, the staff was fantastic, and the breakfast had a great selection. My wife who is gluten free found several options. Parking was very convenient as well.
