"Very nice hotel overall! We stayed in the Delux room, 1 king bed. Very modern and clean. Few things, the door can be hard to unlock sometimes, we had a few ants in the shower and no elevator to go up to the rooms, so be mindful or carrying your luggage to your room."

"Such a great little beach hotel with a nice surf vibe. The location was excellent with easy access to the beach. Staff had good local recommendations. Special thanks to Pam at the reception desk. She was stellar. Friendly, comfortable place. Would recommend."
Dana Point Marina Inn

"The guy at the front desk I think his name was Aidan, but it could be wrong. He was just awesome, helpful, polite, and it was late at night when I checked in and he should’ve been really tired, but he was just really awesome all around. The bathrooms could use a little more soap and the room rooms did look a tiny bit on the old side. I know it cost a lot of money, but the building is right for a revamp. I’ve got such a great location. They should invest a little bit and the property itself."
Laguna Cove Hotel

"The staff were awesome and very helpful. The room was nice but, very small. The noise from outside could be heard at all hours. It is a cute property, but I feel it needs quite a bit of updating. With other comparable properties, I’m not sure we would stay there again. However, we were there for the views, the beach, and the dining, so the room was not a deal breaker."

"The room was nice and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom. Shower had great water pressure & quality shower wash and shampoo. I was surprised that there were NO lotions or shaving items provided. Also, it was clear that the lobby was under renovation (which was disclosed AFTER I had made the reservation). Overall, it was a pleasant stay."
