Weekend grad party

We chose the Bear Lake area because of its proximity to the location of where my nephews grad party was held. We really enjoyed the cabin and took advantage of our time in the area to visit other family members that live in Honor.

Great place!

“The Shed” is a cute little place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the daily grind. The place was so clean and well kept. Kate was so nice and friendly and made the stay feel so comfortable. You can see the care Kate and Ray took to make the shed a perfect getaway! Would definitely recommend this place for someone to visit!

Very clean and peaceful. Beds were comfortable. Grill was brand new and everything was updated. Hosts were extremely personable and easy to talk to. Great stay and will definitely stay again.

Quiet place in the woods

This cabin was amazing! Not only did it live up to the pictures posted online but it exceeded expectations. The property was clean and comfortable, enough room for myself and my husband. Ray and Kate were awesome hosts and we will definitely be back!

Relaxing Stay

We had a great weekend at The Shed. Kate and Ray are wonderful hosts. The setting is so peaceful and The Shed is very clean. We never left the property. Hope to return in the future. I highly recommend staying here. We loved it.

Cozy cabin in a beautiful setting

Super clean cozy cabin surrounded by pine trees. The cabin is well-furmished with artistic touches, such as glass bottle windows that let in light. Firewood was provided for the fire ring outside. The pond is across the road and there is a large wooden swing to enjoy the view.

Fall Fishing Trip

Ray and Kate were gracious hosts and the property was amazing. The inside of The Shed is well appointed and the outside had everything needed to grill, start a fire or just enjoy the stars in the evening. The hosts have an abundance of fishing knowledge and the fly shop on property was a nice bonus! We hope to be back soon!

Perfect getaway!

This is our second time staying at The Shed! We were in town for the Ironman 70.3 in Frankfort and it was the perfect location. Close to the race but away from the crowds. It’s very clean, comfortable and the perfect place to relax and enjoy a camp fire. Kate and Ray are wonderful hosts and really do think of everything to make your stay comfortable and care free. Highly recommend!

Pine Shed stay

Cure "shed" tucked in the pines. Very clean, wonderfully stocked and tastefully decorated. Cozy but has all the comforts of home. Kate was friendly and caring! Recommended for couples , not necessarily families due to size. Clise to Bear Lake for groceries, gas restaurants. Mot far from Manistee and Traverse City for tons of activities
