"This cottage belonged to my great uncle and then his sons . spent alot of time there with my Grandpa. The cottage was just as I remembered it, with a remodeled bathroom. The creek has eroded the bank behind the cottage so it is different from when we would get into the creek. We saw two huge snapping turtles in the creek one evening. Nice stay"

"This property was squeeky clean. We brought our 92 year old Dad and his wife up with my sister and brother in law to celebrate Father's Day and had such a good time. Perfect location. House could not have been cleaner and the communication was spot on. Would highly suggest this for your Acadia, Elberta, Frankfort viist. Happy!"

"Quiet, secluded property. Close enough to Crystal Mountain, Frankfort, Traverse City and the Platte River for tubing, kayaking and canoeing! Fire pit was great on back of property. Our host was wonderful to communicate with! We even got the chance to meet her. Older home and needed some TLC in some areas, but fulfilled our needs. Only suggestion to host would be additional wash cloths and towels for bath and dish cloth and towels for kitchen. I was thinking ahead and brought some. All in all,...

"House was clean, cozy, and overall a perfect stay for out-of-towners heading to a concert at nearby Little River casino. Host was pleasant and responsive; he even added some holiday touches. During our stay it snowed a fair amount and special care was taken to clear the driveway while we were out! Would definitely stay again! "

"The room was very clean and nicely decorated. Pros: Clean, good location, basic small room. Cons: small travel size pillows instead of “real” pillows, only 1 washcloth for two people, room was VERY hot the first night. We turned off the heat and opened windows but it didn’t really cool down until the next day. Really the cons are easily fixable as this property appears to be a work in progress."
