"I had an international connection at CDG Airport that required me to stay in a hotel overnight, but didn't give me enough time to venture into the city. Having looked at several properties near the airport, I booked The Jangle Hotel because it seemed like an affordable high-quality hotel located within a 15-minute free shuttle ride. My stay confirmed all of these advantages and more. Most importantly, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and hotel staff were very friendly. The complimentary hot breakfast included a buffet with a broad array of choices, putting it significantly above what one would typically get at good 2.5-3-star hotel chain in North America. I also used the hotel gym, and was pleasantly surprised to see the back yard, including flower beds, trees, picnic tables and a table-tennis table. I was not there with children, but there are some family friendly amenities even in the lobby - which didn't inconvenience me in any way. The one item that annoyed me a little was the room TV system. The screen is huge, which is great, but there seemed to be a tiny selection of live channels and Netflix required me to log in under my own account, which I didn't want to do. I also had trouble casting the screen of my laptop onto the TV. All in all, it was a very enjoyable overnight stay and I would definitely come back again."

"Hotel in airport made early flight less stressful since could walk to gate. Room spacious but touchy shower hard to not be too hot. Carpet was gritty but room was clean otherwise. The restaurant was a different matter. Service was terrible, slow and inattentive. Have a captive clientele and their indifference showed from start to finish. Two hours to have dinner with 40 minutes before any food brought to the table. Had escargot appetizer which was awful in presentation and quality. Have been to Sheraton in Frankfort which was great experience. The Paris location could learn a lot from it."

"The staff were helpful. Property is well maintained. Main door is locked at all times which makes it difficult upon arrival when you don’t have a key. Should provide instructions regarding arrival to avoid confusion. Buzzer is hidden behind a plant. Room was recently renovated with new furniture. Lovely bathroom but had a plumbing odour which wasn’t pleasant. Neighbourhood has restaurants nearby but not in a great area. I didn’t have issues but there was potential."

"We like everything about the property our room was clean and very well maintained we had an excellent view of the Eiffel Tower as we had requested. The staff was amazing and everyone was super friendly. It is literally just a few short blocks away from the Eiffel Tower and there are lots of great restaurants and shopping close by making the area very vibrant and a very nice place to stay."

"The hotel is in a great neighborhood with awesome bars and restaurants. The parking in the nearest garage is cheap if you stay in the hotel. 40 Euros a day. Not bad compared to the street meters. Rooms are nice but AC is so so. Staff has you do entire check-in on an IPad. Not to friendly. Limited contact. Skipped breakfast."
