We had everything we needed, spending evenings cooking in the kitchen room which overlooks the garden and pool area was relaxing and eating outdoors equally pleasant. Communication with the host was probably the best we have experienced after many stays across Europe, she was more than helpful. Nearby we made trips to Angoulême, Saintes, Royan ( a must for the architecture) and Niort. We can thoroughly recommend. "
