We had everything we needed, spending evenings cooking in the kitchen room which overlooks the garden and pool area was relaxing and eating outdoors equally pleasant. Nearby we made trips to Angoulême, Saintes, Royan ( a must for the architecture) and Niort. We can thoroughly recommend. "
