"The front desk staff were all fantastic. The rooms were very clean. The showers take a while to get warm and don’t have a ton of water pressure but they were still nice and clean. The outdoor pool was nice but they had cans of alcoholic beverages everywhere and a lot of trash all over the place. I was shocked that people would just leave their messes behind like that and staff wasn’t on top of keeping it clean. Their outdoor hot tub didn’t work. The indoor one worked but it made me very itchy, so I didn’t stay in it very long. The indoor pool was too cold for my liking. I did swim in the outdoor pool as it was a little warmer. My adult daughter stepped on a sharp piece that was coming out of the concrete located between the outdoor pool and hot tub and ended up falling into the pool to prevent from cutting herself. The food at 22 & vine is not good. Don’t waste your money. Everything we had was very mediocre at best. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and I swear it was a frozen pizza. The crust was awful. Another person got a Cobb salad and it was the saddest Cobb salad I’ve ever seen. Chick-fil-a’s is 1000 times better than there. The buffalo chicken sandwich looked like a frozen patty of pressed chicken. The burger was so salty my daughter could barely eat it. She did say the potato soup and mashed potatoes were good. We got the buffet breakfast in the morning. The fruit and biscuits and gravy were good. But the eggs don’t even bother. They are boxed eggs and gross. Not worth $20"

"The room (or suite, I suppose) was nice and homey. The room featured dishes, various cooking utensils (such as a colander, a whisk, and a mixing bowl) a dishwasher, and a full refrigerator with freezer. Each trash receptacle I saw included separate recycling bins and the breakfast was simple but hot and accommodating. My primary issue was with the service; while making my reservation, I asked about a crib and received no response. The afternoon before check-in, I called to inquire about a crib and I was told the representative I was speaking with would talk to a custodian and then call me back. I received a call back the next day, 9 minutes after check-in time. Now, I obviously don't live in Carbondale, so why the staff believed that contacting me that late to let me know they couldn't accommodate us was appropriate, I don't know. Beyond that, I believe they need larger trash receptacles in the rooms, especially since they only have room service every other day. Overall, the stay was pleasant and affordable!"

"My dog and I stayed 2 nights for a visit with family in the area. The yard is nice for pets, the deck has gates to keep pets or children in part of it, there's plenty of seating outside to sit for morning coffee or in the evening plus a small firepit with a couple of seats. My dog was not crazy about the spiral staircase but he is a little anxious at times so I carried him up for bed then we were able to go out on the patio and down the wooden staircase in the morning. Location is nice and quiet. If you are a gamer or have kids there is a Pac-Man arcade game. Miranda was awesome at communicating with any questions I had."

"Nice place. Took the grandkids for some Glamping . They loved the pool and lake. Close enough to town to run in for ice cream. Loved the dog Pugley and their son Timothy. We could have taken him home with us. We are definitely going back. Very private location."

"the only very minor item was the inroom coffee maker didn't have the tray to put the packet in. the dining area had coffee at 6 a.m. so it that was all there was , no big deal. we enjoyed our stay."
