"Wonderful hidden little place. Very beautiful, perfect stay for a romantic trip. The bed was very comfortable, good TV channels, bathroom was lovely, the staff was extremely accommodating."

"Never again. It stated on our reservation, daily housekeeping. When we asked about new towels and cleaning our room, they were horrified. So the room never got cleaned and we had to use the same towels the whole time there. I might add, if you want a good night sleep then this place isn’t for you. The loud music next door every night is atrocious."

"The owners are really nice people, very helpful. But the place needs more hygiene, specifically mattress, that had a weird smell. But for the price we just went on and stayed happy, specially the breakfast, that saved us every morningm"

"Truly wonderful. Close enough to everything in Ubud but tucked away so you’re sleeping peacefully. Great and welcoming staff. "

"The staff were great as is the case in most of Bali. Hot Springs were just the best. Rooms were clean and comfy bed, but no air con, which wasnt a problem for us. Only other negative was no hot water in shower but if you spend 3 hours in the hot springs like me, who needs a shower."

"Die Unterkunft war richtig schön, abgelegen und ruhig. Der Ausblick ist es definitiv wert, die Treppen hochzusteigen. Das Frühstück war richtig lecker und frisch zubereitet. Ein zusätzlicher Pluspunkt war der Hund Blackie, der sich gerne streichen ließ :)"

"A peaceful gem in Bali – run with heart I had such a lovely stay at Qiul Guesthouse. The room was spotlessly clean, quiet, and comfortable – exactly what I needed for a restful break. The Royal Purnama Luxury Villas - Adults Only

10/10 Excellent

"Most luxurious and relaxing place to stay! Used as home base for smaller day trips and to just be on vacation. It’s not centrally located for walking to locations, but they offer shuttles and drivers/tour guides are easily available and affordable. I chose it because it’s adults-only (don’t have to hear kids play Marco Polo All day) and it’s by the ocean/black sand beach. This place in itself is a destination!! Amazing large, comfortable rooms with tubs and hot tubs and open air showers. The pool/ocean/cabana combo is heavenly. Never felt more at peace sitting by the ocean from their cabanas. The ocean here is fierce so no swimming, but you can wade and experience the magical black sand and watch all the kites. It’s quiet , peaceful, full of kind and accommodating staff, has an excellent restaurant with breakfast and tea time included in room price, a spa onsite, dinner entertainment every night (many Balinese performances!), and another pool/restaurant onsite with a chill party vibe. Everything was absolutely beautiful and all I was hoping for. I would definitely recommend it and would go back in a heartbeat. "
