"Stay was during May-25 at the Akohara retreat in Ubud. On arrival greeted by staff with flower garland, drinks and local traditional dance. This is definitely a couples retreat. Our room was six levels down a mountain, some 405 steps down. We used the inclinator elevator to travel between our room and main pool and restaurant. "Ich hatte ein tollen Unterkunft in der Villa. Eine schöne Location in der man auch Ruhe findet. In der Villa ist alles was man braucht. Mir hat auch sehr das Freiluft Badezimmer gefallen. Alle waren sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Frühstück ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. In Ubud gibt es viel zu entdecken und auch ein Supermarkt ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Kann diese Unterkunft jedem ans Herz legen der ein Trip nach Bali machen möchte."

"Uma Galih Ubud Villa is wonderful. The property itself seems so private, with a personal entrance gate, walled-in villa (with amazing high ceilings that become musical during evening showers rain on the roof), and a lovely swimming pool. Owner/Manager Mr WIsnu and his team are knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. Reasonably priced breakfasts (ordered a day in advance), both western or Balinese, were delicious. I especially appreciated the availability of ride services throughout the island...
