"Ravenglass is an excellent place to stay just a small village right on the edge of the national park the steam train ride an experience not to be missed with a short walk to the hamlet of boot where either of the two hostelries with give you good food and service "

"We stayed for 2 nights on a driving tour around the UK. I could not fault the Hazel Bank Hotel, Gary & Donna - your hosts cannot do enough for you. The restaurant is fabulous, great wine list, the rooms are gorgeous - loved every minute! thank you."

"The hotel is a little isolated, but once you’re there, there’s no reason to leave anyway. Restaurant was a good time and the food was delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend."
