Just the most lovely bed-and-breakfast: a charming spot above Keswick, with a view of Mountains and a bit of lake, beautifully furnished, with luxurious linens, attentive staff, and delicious breakfast. It felt like a gift to stay there.

A lovely hotel which we will use again when visiting the Lake District. The staff are super friendly and helpful, especially Michael, who was always ready with recommendations and advice. The room itself was very clean and comfortable, with a comfortable supportive bed for a great nights sleep after a days walking. Breakfast time was spectacular even before you sat down, with magical views from the breakfast room over to the misty hills in the distance. The breakfasts themselves were equally wonderful, freshly cooked to order, home-made flapjacks, loads of fresh fruit. The hotel is easy to reach off the A66 and there is good car parking on the grounds (an important factor in Keswick). Keswick and Derwentwater are an easy 10-15 downhill stroll from the hotel. A wonderful hotel, thank you very much for such a super stay.

Visited for my girlfriends birthday. The staff were incredible, knowledgeable and inviting. Left flowers from the garden in our room on her birthday and was always ready to help and answer any questions. Room was lovely and breakfast was perfectly cooked to order! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Excellent place to stay to visit The Lakes and surrounding areas with stunning views. We stayed for 5 nights and were made to feel so welcome . Absolutely spotless. Nothing too much trouble. Room lovely, hot shower, breakfasts excellent. Great choice and they are happy to sort whatever you would like. Coffee and homemade cake available in the lounge later. All in all, we have not stayed in a better B&B . Now we have found it will most definitely be back. Highly recommend.
