"I was not expecting a code-style reception at "A Flemish Tale. To me, an in-person reception check-in is essential for a traveler overseas like me. Thankfully, I was waiting downstairs at least 2 hours before my "check-in time" at 3:00 p.m., so that I was able to meet, totally by chance, the lady in charge at the entrance. But for this, I would not have been able to get my access code. Imagine how scary it was! "

"The layout of the hotel is odd because it's shared with a restaurant annd access is through a dark and narrow alley. There is no one on duty 24/7 so don't expect a rescue in an emergency such as accidentally locking yourself out of your room or the hotel after hours. My room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Good value for money considering the very central location."

"Im Atlas-Guesthouse hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Ferienwohnung hat eine tolle Lage in einem schönen Wohnviertel. Die zum Haus gehörenden Fahrräder waren sehr praktisch. "The underground parking terrified me and parking was paid. The outside parking was much better. The rooms were small but well equipped. Communication was great. We were asked to leave the room cleaned. Which we did but it felt we left it cleaner than it was when we arrived. Overall we ate our own dinner which was purchased at the grocery store a 5 min walk away. And my dad was able to swim and workout. So it did meet the majority of our needs. "

"I have had the distinct pleasure of staying at this hotel on three separate occasions spanning the previous few years. Each visit has consistently been marked by a positive experience. During my most recent stay, the staff demonstrated great hospitality, providing valuable information about local activities and ensuring a taxi was promptly available for my early morning departure. The buffet breakfast was nothing short of excellent, offering a wide variety of choices to start the day right. The hotel’s location is notably convenient, situated directly opposite The Basilica of the Holy Blood and within walking distance of numerous restaurants and the main plaza. The room provided was both spacious and immaculate, contributing to a comfortable stay. Given these consistently high standards, I fully intend to return in the future. :)"
