One of my favorite places in the world. A beautiful property above the clouds with untouchable views. The staff are incredibly friendly, the food is top notch, and the rooms are all uniquely beautiful and well appointed. Can't wait to return for a third time!

The hotel was gorgeous! One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at in my life. Decor was beautiful, the room was very modern and very large. Wonderful breakfast and view from the top floor where you eat breakfast. Staff was helpful and very polite. I will stay here again when I come to Coimbra.

We stayed for a few days at the Convento da Serta Hotel. This was our first time to Serta and we didn't know what to expect of the region. Words come short of telling how I truly feel about my experience. I have traveled to many places, stayed at 6 star resorts, but nothing comes close Six Senses-Douro. To the amazing staff members, to the delicious food, the spa, the hotel and the Wine....absolutley Perfection, with every detail so well thought out!!!!! LIked the warm pool, the breakfasts and dinners

A lovely family run hotel both clean and comfortable with a lovely pool and a small bar where you can sit on the terrace under grapevines and look at the beautiful view. The hotel restaurant is extremely good and parking and breakfast are free. I thoroughly recommend this hotel and will be back.

This property is not only historic but recently updated to freshen it up. The staff was absolutely wonderful and the views cannot be beat. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wine-centered place to stay in Lamego!

We loved everything about this place. So much host and then also modern. The people are so nice and supportive. The location is great. Don’t forget to stop in the local restaurant. You will be surprised about the high end food. And the local store has lots of goodies.

This is a nice boutique hotel in the center city of Lamaga. The room was large, clean, nicely appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't avail ourselves of the spa tub in the room but it is certainly a nice feature. The rooftop pool is inviting and there is an adjacent bar/lounge area. Nice hotel close to Estrella

Wonderful stay. Stunning property, fabulous views, food was excellent, boat ride in our the Douro magical. Service could have been better - they were not as attentive as I would have liked to see for a property of this caliber.

Absolutely amazing place, one of a kind. Do yourself a favor and stay here. The apartment suites were affordable, well appointed, peaceful, and charming. The staff was very polite and helpful. The food was excellent.

We absolutely loved our stay at Alva Valley. Great atmosphere, breakfast & amazing customer service with very nice rooms. So nice to escape from the crowds in Porto. We stayed here after our drive through Douro Valley. Highly recommend coming here to unwind.
