It was an amazing property and will be even better after the construction in and around the hotel is complete. It is easily walkable to sights, shopping, and restaurants. Will be our first choice when we come back to the city!
Beautiful hotel in an excellent location! Close walk to Knez Mihailova, Waterfront Belgrade, Kalemegdan, and more.
Staff are very friendly and pleasant. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.
Fantastic hotel with nice interior and really high standard. Relaxed vibe but highly professional staff. Excellent breakfast, but a bit uneven preparation times for drinks and food. Still an amazing experience. Will absolutely stay here again.
Pros: Gorgeous hotel, nicely updated rooms, great breakfast
Cons:A lot of construction around hotel, area deserted at nights, long walk to waterfront, longer walk to center
Special thanks to Uros who was so friendly and helpful
Loved the hotel … the staff were extremely friendly and service was top notch as expected in a 5 star hotel … always smiling and wanting to help … the food was top notch and woukd definitely recommend the crème brule
The Bristol was a wonderful experience for us. We had the superior deluxe room which was a very nice size. The shower was fantastic after a long international flight from the states. Excellent pressure and temperature. The hotel was very luxurious. The staff was amazing from the bell staff, front desk, waiters etc… they all made an effort to help us tremendously and all knew our names. The food was excellent from breakfast to dining experience and the dining courtyard had music nights on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Beautiful library as well. Didn’t see the spa but I’m sure that is just as nice. The location is walking distance from the bayfront promenade and the city center where all the cafes and restaurants are. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Belgrade and we would definitely stay there again.
The room was very nice but a bit small. The front desk staff very kind and helpful with excellent communication before arrival. restaurant, gym and spa absolutely fine.
Very comfortable room with lots of storage - which worked for completely unpacking. Room w/n have worked if we tried to "live out of our suitcases as there was no room other than on the bed. Great coffee/tea set up. Room had a safe. Great lighting options for various combinations of lighting. Pillow menu. Washcloths.
We learned after 3 days better ways of getting around as there was A LOT of construction around the hotel, so at first, it did not seem walkable, but the waterfront was very accessable with lots of dining options. Breakfast had 2 options, buffet opened early, but had limited American options. Restaurant breakfast did not open prior to our 8am excursions - which is where I could have ordered from a menu. Overall, very impressed with Belgrade.
I had a wonderful stay at the Bristol Hotel. The customer service and hospitality from all the staff were excellent – friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The hotel itself is beautiful, with very clean and quiet rooms that look recently renovated, making the stay extra comfortable. The location is also fantastic, close to everything I needed.
I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Belgrade.
Gorgeous, lovingly refurbished hotel in a part of the city that is undergoing extensive renewal.
Great courtyard, library, bar, dining room. Rooms beautiful, really comfy bed, nice balcony.
90% of the staff amazing and courteous. A couple of them though could do with retraining to bring them up to the level of their amazing colleagues.
Definitely will return.
Good = Great quality building and we loved sitting in the library and sipping an evening cocktail. Beautiful rooms with very tall ceilings. Breakfast buffet had great variety. Great location. Attentive and friendly staff.
Bad = Lots of construction, so no view. Should get better in 6-12months though. Almost 40% of Serbs smoke, and intensely. Any outdoor seating was horrible with the second hand smoke. In fact, the Bristol has an amazing inner garden atrium area, but cannot be used due to the smoking. We had repeated problems with our AC going off and going high. Each night got hotter and hotter, multiple calls to "reset" the system and technician visits did not alleviate the problem. I assume they will fix it.
I would likely go back here if I come to Belgrad again.
Beautiful hotel with a very good restaurant, great service. The rooms are beautifully appointed and spacious. I’ve stayed in all of the top hotels in Belgrade including the recently opened St Regis, and The Bristol offers the most personalized experience. However, I would only recommend staying there Sunday through Thursdays. The weekend nights are very loud with the noise coming from the night clubs around the hotels that go on until the wee hours of the morning. I was shocked at how loud the yelling, car horns, and other noises were, which kept on waking me up. The front desk apologized and told me they had received similar complaints from other guests but they couldn’t do anything about it.
I plan to stay at The Bristol again, but never on a weekend night!
Great location, beautiful hotel, very helpful staff. Loved having Elizabeth (the trendy spot) in the same building and the Galerija shopping mall so close by.
Would def come back
One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at.
The hotel was recently renovated in 2025, and it shows. Everything feels brand new, modern, and exceptionally well done. The rooms, common areas, and overall attention to detail are all top-notch.
What really made the stay special, however, was the staff. Every interaction was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The team consistently went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience.
The location is also excellent. It’s right next to the waterfront, making it easy to enjoy walks along the river, while Belgrade’s Old Town is only about a 10–15 minute walk away. It strikes a perfect balance between being close to the city’s attractions and having a more relaxed atmosphere.
From the beautiful renovation to the outstanding service and ideal location, this hotel exceeded expectations in every way. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Belgrade.
