"We arrived at the hotel after 10pm so we really didn't get to see or use any of the amenities. We left for an early flight at 6am. The staff at checkout tried to charge for 2 cars parking fee but we all came in one van. But they adjusted it to just the one 20pound charge. I did receive an email later in the day that I had a balance for another parking fee, I emailed back and explained we only had 1 car and haven't heard back if its all good. The rooms were comfy and quiet and parking was very convenient. Thank you"

"Everything about the hotel was great except the breakfast. For a 5 star hotel it should be much better. Not many choices , hard sausage, and awful potatoes. The best thing is the fresh eggs and omlettes the chef will make you fresh. Then I didn’t have a room number to charge my 20 percent discount to so I never received that."

"For a three star accommodation, I had to adjust my expectations. The hotel is conveniently located, 15 minute walk to the airport tram station and to St James Square, a famous shopping centre, and almost 20 minutes to Edinburgh Waverley. The staff was friendly and available 24 hours and stored my luggage free of charge when I arrived earlier than the check-in time. I gave three stars because the loud sounds from other room were heard in my room even at midnight. The walls could have been better insulated. Also, although the room was daily cleaned, the sink was not. Finally, the window was not fully closed maybe due to lack of AC, they wanted the room to have fresh air. This caused bees and flies to enter the room and make an annoying wheezing noise."

"This was a great one-night stopover for us before heading to the airport the next day. The staff were so pleasant and ensured we had a good stay, especially David at the front desk/bar. He went above and beyond, even providing us with a complimentary voucher and checking in with us whenever we walked by. Our room had what we needed, except a hair dryer or working A/C (of course, it was a heat wave day!). The breakfast bar had the standard options, but the eggs were the dehydrated/powdered kind, and the hashbrowns were somewhat underdone. There was onsite parking (paid, but discounted), which was a bonus. We would stay here again. Thanks, David and staff!"

"An absolutely incredible stay. While I won’t go into specifics, the staff here went completely above and beyond in a way that left me overwhelmed with gratitude. Their kindness and exceptional service turned a standard hotel stay into an unforgettable experience. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The team here are truly special."
