"This was a perfect property and location for our family of 17 attending several days of wedding activities. We contacted the host several times before our arrival with questions, responses were quick and clear. There was no need to contact host after arrival because everything was just as described. Every house was clean and comfortable, we would definitely stay here again!"

"Where do I even begin? Heartstone at 515 exceeded every expectation we had. My sister and I stayed here to celebrate our birthdays, and from the moment we arrived, it was clear this wasn’t just another vacation rental, it was an experience. First of all, the yurt was immaculately clean. Honestly one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. It was beautifully decorated, incredibly cozy, and completely one of a kind. We were welcomed with a thoughtful gift of wine, fresh fruit, cookies, and nuts waiting for us upon arrival. Inside, there was an impressive selection of complimentary coffee, teas, flavored syrups, and even drinking water already provided. The handwritten notes throughout the yurt made everything feel so personal and heartfelt. The Sleep Number bed gave us some of the best sleep we’ve had in a long time, and each morning we were treated to fresh eggs from the chickens on the property. Such a unique touch! The bathroom even had a cabinet stocked with toiletries for anything you may have forgotten. It’s those little details that make such a big difference. Outside was just as incredible. There is no shortage of comfortable places to sit and soak in the breathtaking Hill Country views. We spent our days cooling off in the cowboy pool and our evenings relaxing in the hot tub under the stars. The property itself is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and meticulously maintained. The owners have chickens, goats, horses, and donkeys on the property, and they even leave little bags of feed in the yurt so guests can interact with the animals. We unfortunately ran out of time to do that, but it was such a thoughtful touch and just another example of how much care goes into every detail here. Mrs. Patti checked in to make sure we had arrived safely and even stopped by later just to say hello. She is an absolute sweetheart, and we also got to meet several of their adorable dogs. You can genuinely tell that she and her family pour their hearts into this place, and it shows in every little detail. If I had to offer one tiny suggestion (and I’m really reaching here), it would be to have a small bookshelf with a few books. Maybe a bird guide, a book on local wildlife, or even one about the history of yurts. It just feels like it would fit the peaceful atmosphere perfectly. Other than that, pure perfection. Heartstone at 515 is truly a hidden gem and easily one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Every thoughtful detail—from the welcome gifts to the fresh eggs to the handwritten notes—made us feel genuinely cared for. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to check my calendar and figure out how soon we can come back. ❤️"

"We just completed a five night stay with our large family and we are thrilled with the house. We have been doing this family trip for many years. We have stayed in many different houses through those years and this was the best one yet. For our family, accessibility is extremely important. The hosts are accommodating to the point where there are ramps that can be temporarily installed for the steps on the main floor to access the hallway/living rooms to accommodate a wheel chair. As a note, the ramps are not normally installed. So, let the hosts know in advance if you need the ramps installed. There is also a concrete ramp leading up to one of the bedrooms with an exterior door. This ramp allows wheel chair accessibility into the home.I could go on about the other amenities as well, however, they are all listed. Even so, I will brag about the ice machine. Having that was amazing.For anyone considering renting the house, I would say the house lives up to the photos. We were not disappointed in anything when we arrived. I will add that pictures really cannot capture the amazing view of the Texas Hill Country out of the living room and off the back deck.Thank you for allowing us to use this fantastic house. We are looking forward to returning here for our family vacation next year."

"Property is a ways out so it it quiet at night and the house is very cute with a great layout. Spacious rooms with a very nice kitchen and lots of storage. Beds are extremely comfortable.Our experience was a bit of Murphy's Law in action- but EXCELLENT and prompt host response. The first door code didn't work. I called VRBO, they got the owner on the phone immediately and she gave me a new code which worked fine. Tried to log into wifi and had trouble. The owner had given me her cell so I texted her and got fast response with new wifi and password. There appeared to be an issue with her router. A few light bulbs were out which I told her about. Not enough to cause issues. Went to take a shower and no water pressure. One shower only dripped and the other was not much better (In talking with her after, they had fixed that). We really could not stay the second night with that situation. (Owner says the water pressure issue has since been fixed). Owner was very understanding and did fully refund us for the second night. She never stopped communicating with me. I never waited long for a response. This was just one of those things and her response was more than I expected. Very refreshing. "
