"An excellent host in an amazing setting. It is very isolated, dinner must be organised the day before directly with the owner. If not nearest restaurant is 10km away, however this is excellent and well worth a visit. Breakfast first class."

"The chateau is set in a beautiful location and our room overlooking the lake was superb and very comfortable. Excellent breakfast and our hosts Dave and Adam made us very welcome, more like house guests!! We arrived rather late but they even escorted us to a local bistro so that we could find some dinner as the peaceful chateau location is set in deep countryside and nothing local was open at this late hour - they went above and beyond to assist us! A charming and memorable experience! "

"This was a peaceful place with a lovely hostess who gave us some eggs from her hens. There is a tiny table with two chairs outside the door and a larger space with garden furniture under a canopy further down the garden, although this would be more comfortable if it could be contrived to put it on level ground. The living space was fine for two people."
