Also a 4 PM check-in seems really late and I'm convinced that made me wait 20 minutes for no reason. Beyond that, it's cute and comfortable and lots of art to explore."

The surrounding houses are crumbling and appear uninhabitable, something completely omitted from the listing.Within minutes of arriving, we heard what sounded like automatic gunfire nearby. When I raised legitimate safety concerns, the host dismissed it and accused me of lying.Because of this, I had to leave immediately and secure alternate accommodations at my own expense. I then spent over 2.5 hours on the phone with VRBO across multiple calls just to get a full refund for what was clearly a misrepresented property. VRBO ultimately agreed, but it should never have required that level of effort.This listing withholds critical information about the surrounding environment. Do not rely on it to reflect reality or make an informed, safe decision."
