Part of the reason we chose to come was for its proximity to the two Machrihanish courses but we didn't quite realise how great the beaches are as well! "From beginning till end it was just an amazing WONDERFUL experience. I got picked up by the host from Campbeltown city centre and directly escorted to Dawaar Island. The moment i stepped into "The Lookout" I fell in love with it immediately. It was even better and nicer as shown on the pictures. The silence, the view, the experience - is something that no one should ever miss if he wanted to spend some time away from the stress and pressure of the daily life. You sometimes might think twice...

"No contact from Homeaway regarding getting keys etc. Hours spent on the phone to various "customer service". Found out myself that it was managed by cottages. com. Logged in to their website to find all the information there. Probably spent too much money by booking through Homeaway rather than direct with Cottages. Com. Views were stunning, great location. Lovely gifts upon arrival (best banana cake ever) fresh flowers a lovely touch. Very clean. Missing a couple of things like a bbq and heat...
