"We absolutely loved everything about this hotel. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and very inviting after a long day out. The breakfast buffet was fabulous with a great variety of delicious options. A special shout-out to the woman who checked us out on February 7th — she was incredibly personable and so fun to talk to, which made our departure especially pleasant. We also really appreciated the hotel’s proximity to the train station, especially since we returned from an Olympic event very late in the evening. The convenience made our trip so much easier. "

"Elisabetta, Marco and Tomaso more than exceeded our expectations with their kindness, warmth and hospitality. Elisabetta reached out prior to our arrival, and was more than happy to arrange a taxi for us to get to our bus to Cortina. When she heard we didn't have much time, she offered to pack us a nice lunch, complete with fruit and water to take along. Just one example of the thoughtful hosting we experienced throughout our stay. Our accommodations were beautifully appointed with wonderful towels and fluffy robes, and the shower was large and spa-like. There were snacks and juice available in our room, and our beds were super-comfortable. The view from the windows of the snow-covered Dolomites was an added plus. Breakfast was ready and waiting every day, and the food was fantastic. Homemade and tasty pastries were most appreciated. In addition to arranging transport for us, Tomaso provided our drivers with espresso or cappuccino every morning. The extra special nicety for us were Leo and Maui, who greeted us daily and made up for our missing pups at home. We were sad to leave these wonderful people and would love to return for another visit. We are sharing our experience with our friends and family in case they should travel to Belluno as we could not imagine a nicer place to stay! Just an amazing experience all around."

"The apartment is part of an historical villa with easy access to the downtown area (20 mins walk). It is very close to a grocery store, a pharmacy, a pizzeria and the best ice cream parlor in Belluno (all three minutes walk). The apartment is on two floors with bedrooms in the upstairs area. Two of the bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom. We had a pleasant stay except for the lack of a washing machine, the fact that the WiFi does not reach the second floor ( the walls are so thick in these old buildings!), and the fact that access to the beautiful garden was not permitted. Although we did not have a washing machine in the house there was a laundromat close by that we used a coupe of times. The machines dispense detergent softener and disinfectant so our laundry came out soft and very clean.Belluno is a jewel, mainly undiscovered, offering great hikes and daily excursions to the Dolomites. Food is excellent with many good restaurants sand pizzerias both downtown ( il Moretto e la fenice) and in surrounding areas ( la Nogherazza and il Borgo). One day we drove to the prosecco area ( 40 min drive) and ate at the Locanda Sandi which also has a wine shop. Their Cartizze bubbly wine is wonderful!Overall, a great week with very minor issues. The host was very responsive and came within 15 minutes of our check in to apologize for the fact that the cleaning crew had not done a thorough job due to a quick turnaround. She solved all our issues very promptly. We will be back!"
