House with a bedroom for 2 people, bathroom, small balcony overlooking the mountains and the historic center, kitchen-living room. After having walked along a very narrow staircase, here is the view of the valley and on the sides of the particular stone street the door of this lovely accommodation. The house consists of a small kitchen room made entirely of rock with a wooden/iron staircase that leads to the cozy bedroom with bathroom... Once the house seems to have been inhabited by a family of 12 members!!!

For Gugliermo and I it was like a blanket or a shawl placed on us from our ancestors . We were in the present and past simultaneously. Gabriella and Gianfranco have taken on a Herculean task of reconstructing this charming hillside village home by home. Gianfranco and his brothers grew up there so there souls are one with the commune. The charm and authenticity of each casa is pure and perfect. The dinner Gabriella and Gianfranco made for us will be one we will always remember. Pure Calabrian. For those who are comfortable with steps, stars and peace. Belmonte Calabro is perfectly magical. C'veddiammo!

This Medieval Village was so good on everything, staring with staff people and the owner was extremely polite and very courteous with me and my wife. We were in Calabria for 10 days we had stay in about 3 different hotels in the area, this was the best one we stayed and I wish we knew about it before, but we are coming back next year. Every request we had was immediately taking care from the staff which were very helpful and very polite. The Medieval Village was very nice and clean and furniture were very cute!! Me and my wife are so happy and grateful with each one of them, they really know how to take care their guest!!! I strongly recommend it. Joaquin Bracho

Un posto “unico”

Consiglio a tutti un soggiorno in questa perla sospesa tra mare e cielo. Belmonte Calabro, un paesino al di sopra ogni aspettativa; ecobelmonte, una scoperta per trascorrere giorni di vacanza unici e senza tempo. Colori, vicoli, scorci, profumi, panorami... che non ti lasciano mai riposare gli occhi e la voglia di scoprire cose nuove. ....E un tramonto pazzesco!! Gabriella e Giancarlo (e la loro figlia Luciana) che hanno reso questo progetto davvero un pezzo unico, inimitabile, dove il loro cuore e l’amore per la terra-la tradizione-il passato e il futuro e’ sempre in prima fila a spendersi per suoi ospiti. Cucina top!! Cenare nella piazzetta rende ogni sera piu’ preziosa e ricca di emozioni. Pulizia impeccabile dell’appartamento, tutto il necessario, in un contesto magico. Felice di avervi conosciuto! Bellissimo!

I spent various days at Belmonte Calabro with the kind attention of Eco Vacanze Belmonte and I must say it was an amazing experience. Gabriella and Gianfranco refurnished old houses with a high attention to traditional details aiming to preserve the historical heritage of town and the traditional way of building, paying much attention to details, like the fact that each house have a different chimney. Also, these houses offers to visitors the experience of living like a local in a historical town. You wont feel as a tourist as such. Being there during spring and summer it is an amazing experience where you can get charged by the sun and also enjoy to take figs directly from the tree. This place is to really enjoy time-off, get real rest and enjoy a different kind of vacation. It is perfect for introspection for a long stay and get inspired to finish any pending project and also it is so romantic it can be a perfect location for a honeymoon and even a wedding!
