"A lovely family run hotel both clean and comfortable with a lovely pool and a small bar where you can sit on the terrace under grapevines and look at the beautiful view.
The hotel restaurant is extremely good and parking and breakfast are free.
I thoroughly recommend this hotel and will be back."

One of my favorite places in the world. A beautiful property above the clouds with untouchable views. The staff are incredibly friendly, the food is top notch, and the rooms are all uniquely beautiful and well appointed. Can't wait to return for a third time!

Quinta Ponte da Capinha is a cosy hotel in a rural setting that is a perfect base from which to visit a number of charming historical Portuguese villages. Host and owner Júlia and her mother are solicitous hosts eager to please and to inform with a view to making our stay a delightful experience. From the interesting story about the transformation of this generations-old family farm house into a 7-room B&B hotel, to restaurant recommendations to details about local points of interest and...

Daba pena irse.

Beautiful hotel in amazing surroundings. Serra de Estrela is absolutely gorgeous! Would love to go back. Their jacuzzi was out of order and their spa pool has only one waterfall working, hence the 4 stars on the condition.
Breakfast is quite good. One of our dinners was superb, the second dinner was so so. Service was nice. All in all I would consider staying there again. You can’t beat the location.

Everything about this hotel is top-notch. The room was spacious and comfortable. It's in a lovely rural setting that immediately makes you sigh a huge, "Ahhhhhhh". The bed and pillows were perfectly comfortable. The staff was friendly, gracious and professional. All the food was delicious, we were blown away by their homemade cheeses!

We loved everything about this place. So much host and then also modern. The people are so nice and supportive. The location is great. Don’t forget to stop in the local restaurant. You will be surprised about the high end food. And the local store has lots of goodies.
