Jane is warm, welcoming, and readily shares her trove of knowledge about Skye: places, people, activities, hikes. She's a superb cook and gracious hostess: many fine, fresh breakfast options, including the bread she bakes herself, and the best granola we have ever tasted, impressive assortments of fruits and berries, etc etc etc. Our suite was new and immaculate, with many well thought-out functional and aesthetic touches. "

"We had a lovely time at the Woodenhouse. It’s such an impeccable home and the view is to die for. Skye is a lovely island and this was a terrific place to visit from although trips out on the Island do need time so you can take your time driving the single track roads with cars and sheep :) we found ourselves wanting to spend more time at the house than out as it was so lovely. "

"The cottage was tidy and nicely set up. We were a bit surprised with the lack of wifi and that there was really only a tub with a sprayer and not an actual shower, but both were manageable. The beds were okay, plenty of warm duvets. The view is amazing, we loved sipping our coffee or a dram from the kitchen and front yard looking over the valley. "
