"Welcoming and very easy-going staff, very clean, good warm shower and the facility is well kept overall. The surroundings are picturesque and very calm. Their restaurant is just couple of minutes away and is a gem. I highly recommend to go there for a dinner you will not regret, the food is just delicious. You will have your breakfast in the same place and the breakfast itself is a special event. Free parking with plenty of space. Great place, thank you for a nice stay. "

"Ich war ein bisschen enttäuscht von der Unterkunft. Unser Zimmer, mit Sauna, war leider schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es roch nicht wirklich gut im Zimmer. Der Teppichboden war leider schon fleckig. Der Spiegel war nicht geputzt und in der Duschkabine müssten die Dichtungen erneuert werden. Der Putz an den Wänden im Zimmer bröckelte schon und wurde nur übermalt. Ich hätte irgendwie besseres erwartet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Frühstück war auch gut. "The setting of this hotel is stunning, and we had a balcony overlooking the Rhine. Quiet, elegant and relaxing! Currently there is extensive work on the adjoining Castle Rheinfels, but this was not disruptive to the hotel. Lovely breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant with fabulous views of the Rhine. Front desk staff is welcoming and helpful. "

"We arrived late evening, however a staff member was still on site, she was very pleasant and extremely helpful, made us feel “at home”. The castle has been kept very authentic and would be exactly what someone would want to experience in a castle built in 1283, absolutely amazing place. Would recommend anyone to stay. However a couple things we noticed, after dark there are little to no light sources past the main entrance, the grounds where very dark and interior stairways, making navigation of...
