"My friends and I (6 of us) stayed at the Farmhouse for a girls weekend and none of us wanted to leave! Everything about the house was perfect! A beautiful, lovingly restored farmhouse, an amazing setting, and gorgeous views from every window! We visited the caverns, did some shopping, horseback riding, and enjoyed a drive on Skyline Drive, along with lots of relaxation time at the house - on the porch, at the fire pit, and in the beautiful cooks kitchen! We couldn't have asked for a nicer place...

"We loved our stay. The home was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable. It was very well stocked with everything you could need. The views of Old Rag Mountain were amazing. Our favorite room was the screened in porch. It was so peaceful and a perfect place for morning coffee. The location was perfect for hiking and wineries. The whole family enjoyed playing the Monopoly and Jenga after hiking White Oak Canyon. Perfect weekend!"

"The tiny house was everything we expected it to be. Just amazing. The location was perfect and the view was spectacular. It’s only about a 10-15 minute drive into town and just as close to the caverns. The owner lives next door and was very attentive to anything we may have needed which was great. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet getaway for the weekend."

"The four of us came to John's place with different needs: the kids wanted open space to fly a little plane they received at Christmas, my husband wanted to be close enough to a coffee shop and I wanted hilly open space and a house with charm. "Our small start-up needed a place to think, break bread, and relax together. This was the perfect setting. We appreciated the layout with its separate-but-equal bedrooms and places to join together, like the lovely and spacious dining room and living area and amazing kitchen. But mostly it was nice to be outdoors with the livestock, including a turkey that seemed to get our jokes."

"We stayed at the lovely farmhouse and had the most relaxing time. The large porch, swing, and chairs is where we spent the majority of our time. When we were inside, the large sectional allowed our whole family to sit together, play cards, and listen to music. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept wonderfully with the black out curtains. The bathrooms were all well appointed and we were grateful to have the washer and dryer on site as well. Communication with the host was wonderful and...
