"Beautiful property! We enjoyed watching the deer that came to the meadow. Kids loved the pool. Stairs were a bit challenging for the elderly, but kids loved running up and down them."

"This farmhouse is huge and very well appointed. The photos on the listing are accurate. Plenty of beds. Common spaces are comfy, and the outdoor gazebo and pool area are very nice. Kitchen has all you need. The property is very quiet and private. Wifi is slow, but hopefully you don't have to do any work while you are enjoying the beautiful home!"

"The farmhouse was very clean, beautifully decorated and truly welcoming! We spent many hours on the rocking chairs on the back porch looking at the beautiful mountains. There were homemade cookies waiting for us when we arrived which were delicious. We had a very nice visit in Luray. So glad we picked this rental."

"This property is amazing, and in many ways better than expected. Everything you need to have a comfortable stay is there. The house is charming and has some impressive updating to give you modern amenities with a farmhouse vibe. While we had enough beds for everyone without needing the sleeping porch, a few people opted to stay out there to enjoy the sounds of nature. Truly a great place to stay - many in our group said they would stay again!"

"The tiny house was everything we expected it to be. Just amazing. The location was perfect and the view was spectacular. It’s only about a 10-15 minute drive into town and just as close to the caverns. The owner lives next door and was very attentive to anything we may have needed which was great. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet getaway for the weekend."

"The four of us came to John's place with different needs: the kids wanted open space to fly a little plane they received at Christmas, my husband wanted to be close enough to a coffee shop and I wanted hilly open space and a house with charm. "Our small start-up needed a place to think, break bread, and relax together. This was the perfect setting. We appreciated the layout with its separate-but-equal bedrooms and places to join together, like the lovely and spacious dining room and living area and amazing kitchen. But mostly it was nice to be outdoors with the livestock, including a turkey that seemed to get our jokes."

"We stayed at the lovely farmhouse and had the most relaxing time. The large porch, swing, and chairs is where we spent the majority of our time. When we were inside, the large sectional allowed our whole family to sit together, play cards, and listen to music. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept wonderfully with the black out curtains. The bathrooms were all well appointed and we were grateful to have the washer and dryer on site as well. Communication with the host was wonderful and...

"My husband, chihuahua and I spent last week in Virginia. The second half was at the Cliffside Cabin. Each morning, we had our coffee sitting on the porch admiring the beautiful mountains and river view. The location was perfect for our outings. We hiked trails, explored Front Royal, saw the Caverns and tubed down the Shenandoah River which was so relaxing! If we're back in the area I would definitely stay here again."
