"We stayed one night at the Hotel Pommernland having flown in to the nearby Anklam airfield. As it was the Ascention weekend there were no taxis available so the hotel manager Eric kindly gave us a lift into town to a greek restaurant. Hotel was clean and tidy and the rooms were absolutely fine. My only criticism is that there was only 1 feather pillow supplied which was way too soft, my head sunk straight through it. Breakfast was OK."

Mein Zimmer hatte einen Balkon mit schönem seitlichem Meerblick auf die Ostsee, den man von Loungemöbeln aus genießen konnte. Auch toll: Die voll ausestattete kleine Küchenzeile und die Waschmaschine - es war eher wie in einem Mini-Apartment, als in einem Hotelzimmer. Der Wellnessbereich mit u.a. "It's very remote, only reachable by car, yet a parking fee of 6€ per day is collected. They are not prepared for people with allergies or intolerances. So be prepared to bring your own food. I woould suggest to the owners to provide some kind of shuttle service to train or bus station or downtown Ahlbeck. Also a water kettle to prepare tea was missing as well as an option to lock the door from inside."

"The hotel staff were very friendly, the room was comfortable, the breakfast offered a wide assortment of food choices, and the pool/spa were refreshing. I would stay here again."
