"The Shed is a little gem in northern Michigan with close and easy access to Crystal Mountain, Arcadia Bluffs, and Sleeping Bear Dunes, among others. "We had a great stay. There were 10 of us staying in the house. We were very comfortable, everyone slept well. The kids were a little disappointed that there wasn’t a lighter to get the fireplace going but that didn’t affect our fun, only mentioning that because some people may be very disappointed if that were to happen. "Property was just as described. It is a fully functional older camper, perfectly suitable for 2 adults and up to 2 teens or 3 smaller children (IMHO). I enjoyed the hottub only once before my trip was cut short. It is next to the deck on back of house. We did find the bed somewhat hard, but added another comforter to sleep on and that helped a lot. "My husband, our two dogs, and I got away from the hustle and bustle of Chicago to enjoy our time in the woods. The cabin was perfect for our family and was just the right size. Never felt too crowded. We roasted marshmallows and hot dogs on the fire pit and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The cabin was just isolated enough that we let our dogs run around off leash and enjoy.
