The house seems like it had previously been occupied by an elderly relative with Victorian tastes, but has been modernised without losing the character. Some of the updates have been done a bit cheaply, but mostly it has been tastefuly, well done. Overall a great guesthouse."

"Spent almost 3 weeks, it was home from home. Provided good atmosphere to work - quiet and peaceful. The B&B has a retro, nostalgia provoking feel. The host makes wonderful breakfast and is good company. The rooms are kept clean neat and tidy and if you need WIFI the connection is super. The neighbourhood is quiet and leafy, and felt safe and pleasant to walk about, though walking back to B&B is a steep climb. Needed that for exercise every now and again.
