This is a very good choice for forte dei Marmi - an easy 15 minute walk along the promenade with very nice beach clubs opposite as well as a small but very well maintained pool and beautiful grounds and lounge areas inside and out All staff really welcoming and helpful with recommendations and all aspects of our stay - excellent service all round A high quality plentiful breakfast is offered with eggs and coffee made to order Room services and cleaning were spot on

Great location for Città Alta. Staff were very friendly and assisted with taxi and restaurant bookings. Bar in the lobby was good. Great view from our balcony on the 7th floor. Shower was very small. Hot food on the breakfast needed to be varied as it was the same for each of the 4 days we were there.

The hotel is easy to get to from the train station - a 6 - 8 minute walk straight up the main street. The hotel is very close to the Funicular about a 2 minute walk. For those interested in shopping you're not more than 2 to 3 minutes from it. Although the bedroom decor is a bit dated it is clean,bright and very comfortable. The breakfast has a good selection for every taste. The City Alta has much to see and do and you will easily need a full day to explore it.

We arrived late at night from Milan airport and really appreciated the late check in, since the front desk is open 24 hours. Its a nice but pretty basic hotel. Good breakfast in a lovely outdoor setting with a nice view of the Citta Alta. The tram to the Citta Alta was literally a 3 min walk away which was nice. It was a perfect one night stop before heading to the lakes region.
