"We loved our time here at the Effala suite. It was located right in the middle of the heart of Colmar so lots to see and do outside but there was a nice quiet courtyard inside the gate when you wanted to get away from the crowds. I picked this place for the views out the windows and that did not disappoint. We stayed there early May, so it wasn’t too hot without air conditioning, but may be a factor at other times of year. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again....

"We were met by the owner who showed us around the property and was very helpful and friendly about the property but also the area and places to visit. We all had a great 6 days there and saw some really good sites. Thoroughly recomend thie house and the area."

"Perfect location and just off the main road so extremely quiet. Everything you need in the kitchen if you want to eat in. Within walking distance to great restaurants and small hikes. I highly recommend this place and will be sending my friends in Christophe’s direction too."

"The apartment was secluded and in a very quiet part of the world and was very relaxing. Facilities were as described and just right for a small family. There was lots to do in the area and lots of nice walks from the apartment."

Le gîte est d'une propreté irréprochable tout y est prévu pour que le séjour soit accueillant chaleureux et cosy. "Stayed for a week in this lovely flat on the Rue du Rempart in Eguisheim during the last week of September. Very well equipped and cosy feel in a perfect location for access to the Centre of this lovely village. The flat was spotlessly clean and the owner met us with the keys and explained anything we needed to know. The new wine festival started our week well and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Family Lach who let the property responded promptly to any of our emails and questions when...

"A very nice location (except for parking- though public parking doable) Unfortunately communication with owner was difficult as everything they wrote was in French- so some confusion as to their expectations for our responsibilities. Would be great if Vrbo could provide a translation service. Also, your age bracket is very broad with only having adults 18+. Senior citizens might have a separate category as their needs might be different."

"Easy walk to local sites, shops and restaurants. The apartment was quaint and located in a historic house. Stephanie was very helpful and attentive. We tried 4 of her 5 restaurant recommendations. Each one was an excellent dining experience. We had an excellent 8 day stay. The steep stairs would prevent this being a good selection for people with mobility issues. Clean and welcoming."

"Wir haben eine schöne Woche verbracht, auch wenn das Wetter nicht immer mitspielen wollte. Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll eingerichtet, der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war völlig unkompliziert (und der Hund hat auch mal geschaut, ob bei uns alles in Ordnung ist) und als wir mit dem Fahrrad so richtig nass geworden sind, hat der Pellet-Ofen uns und unsere Stimmung gewärmt. Gerne wieder."

"The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. They have some English which was a big plus. The location was ideal. 12 minute walk to Colmar tourist bureau and to the old village. Easy access to major routes to head to the many quaint Alsacien villages. Private parking was a bonus. I highly recommend this home."

Unterkunft bietet 4 Zimmer mit je einem Doppelbett. Ein Bad mit Badetücher/Shampoo, Küche haben wir nicht gebraucht. Schöner Ausflug mit Mietvelos (am Bahnhof) bis zum Belvedere Turm."

"Loved the place. Very clean, convenient and the owners were wonderful. Sylvane met us personally and walked us around when we arrived. She even had a folder of her favorite restaurants and bakeries for us…which we used. You can walk to key areas like Little Venice and others within 3 minutes. Super stay that we enjoyed. Highly recommend!"

"Our third trip to Alsace and first stay in Turckheim. The train station is literally a few min walk and provides easy access to Colmar, Strasbourg, etc. So many great must see villages, must try wines, must see vineyards and tasting rooms and great restaurants. Our host, Gregory was extremely helpful with suggestions and area advice; just a delight ! We highly recommend"
