"The location of this hotel is very unique being that it sits on a pier overlooking the water. Overall, the accommodations were wonderful for our family of 3. Unlike most family rooms in the area, our room had a dedicated single bed for our child to sleep on rather than a pullout sofa bed. The only inconvenience was that walking distance to dining options beyond what is available on the premises is a little long at about 20 minutes or so depending on your walking pace. Nonetheless, the hotel was very clean and the staff was very pleasant. "

Quirky layout because the building is over 100 years old but I like the rooms, the apartment rooms are spacious, the views of the bay are beautiful. The breakfast is excellent, great healthy choices. Normally there is public parking in front of the hotel. "

"Boutique hotel within walking distance of train station and in downtown Sundsvall. Lightly staffed and property was a bit aged, understandably because the building was probably 100 years old, but it met our needs and breakfast was sufficient. "
