The room was clean and simple in a perfect location. There were 3 areas within a 20-30 minute walk that were good to walk around with plenty of resturants and cafes. The #41 bus was right infront of the hotel and takes you to the center of the city in 20 minutes. Very enjoyable stay!

Donā€™t ever book here. Not sure you have a roomā€¦

Horrible experience. I was traveling to Berlin for one night and upon arrival I found the hotel front door closed. Apparently this is normal as there is no staff on hand unless there is a check-in due however this prompted me to give the hotel a call. The lady on the phone then (in a very rude manner) informed me that the booking I had had been cancelled by hotels.com and that there were no rooms available. I had not been informed of this and my booking was still listed as active and upcoming in the app. I called hotels.com and they informed me that they had not cancelled the booking. I was allocated a different hotel close by for the duration of my stay. However I strongly advise against booking at this hotel given that they apparently cancel bookings without notifying their customers or the vendor (hotels.com) in this case. If you want to be sure that your booked room is still available once you get to beeping donā€™t use city hotel Gotland.

Fint hotel som ligger godt placeret i forhold til at komme rundt i Berlin. Parkering er gadeparkering og koster 3 euro i timen og ikke inkluderet som angivet. VƦrelset var pƦnt ved ankomst, men der blev ikke gjort rent undervejs i opholdet. Morgenmadsbuffet var fin og personalet sĆøde og informative. Indtjekning gik via opkald til en inder, og sĆ„ elektronisk udlevering af nĆøgle. Udtjekning skete ved at efterlade nĆøglen pĆ„ vƦrelset. Alt i alt ok, og fin til prisen.

Modtagelsen ved ankomst var den dĆ„rligste modtagelse jeg har oplevet. Vi fik knappe og irriterede svar, blev anklaget for at betalingen var blevet afvist (vi kunne bevise overfĆørslen fra vores bank) og fik ingen undskyldning. Morgenmaden kom vi slet ikke til, da det sĆ„ for snusket og uhygiejnisk ud. VƦrelset var fint og man behĆøvede heldigvis ikke at gĆ„ forbi receptionen, nĆ„r man skulle ud og ind af hotellet.

Yƶpymiseen sopiva hotelli, aamupalalla pƤrjƤƤ seuraavalle etapille. Plussaa oma vessa, aamupalamahdollisuus, kohtuullinen sƤnky. Miinusta kolme eri avainta huoneeseen asti pƤƤsemiseen, aikainen respan sulkeutuminen (mikƤ oli tosin kierretty avainlaatikolla, hyvƤ nƤin), ƤƤnieristyksen ja ilmastoinnin puute. HyvƤ vaihtoehto yƶpymiselle jos ei toivo ylimƤƤrƤistƤ hotellikokemukseltaan.

Lille meget slidt ā€œhotelā€ der mere virkede som et bb. Underlig bĆøvlet tilgang til hotellet og vƦrelset. Der skulle bruges 3 nĆøgler da noget af ā€œhotelletā€ var private lejligheder. Halvdelen af de elektriske pƦrer manglede og selve hotel skiltet stod og blinkede svagt om aftenen. PƦrer udskiftning ville vƦre pĆ„ sin plads. ā€œReceptionenā€ som lukkede kl 18, bestod af en Ʀldre meget kortfattet og ligesĆ„ lidt smilende kvinde, der hverken begik sig godt pĆ„ engelsk eller tysk. VƦrelset og badevƦrelse fremstod gammelt og slidt. Havde vƦret ok hvis pris og kvalitet hang sammen men 1400 kr for en overnatning dette sted, ej det sker ikke igen! ā€œHotelletā€ tilbyder parkering, ja hvis du kan finde en, pĆ„ de meget travle gader i nƦromrĆ„det!! Morgenmad ok og skĆøn beliggenhed med gĆ„afstand til bymidten.

Very Good, nice breakfast, excellent room heating, a bit small rooms (but it's not Hilton). The landlady besides not speaking English, she is charming, smiling and caring.
