The breakfast was good. The hotel need renovation. Room size is ok compared to German chain hotels. The staffs were nice. One thing I don't like is charging 3 euro for room luggage to store our bag for 2 hours after checking out 11 in the morning.

We were in Berlin for the Berlin Marathon. The Holiday Inn Express was a great place to stay. It was well located for everything we wanted to do. It was close to public transportation, a market was across the street, there were many choices to eat within walking distance. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The daily breakfast that was included in our stay was well stocked and even geared toward racers who were staying at the hotel. It wasn't anything fancy but the rooms were clean and the service was great! We had a hard time keeping the room cool and the beds were to be expected with this level of hotel. We would stay (and recommend!) this to others doing the race and/or visiting Berlin.

Nice hotel ideally located and connected through public transport . I specially chose it because of its Green Key certification and was happy to see that the standard is kept. Breakfast corresponds to the category of the hotel but the important thing was that all products were good quality.
