"The location of this property is ideal for visiting Bass lighthouse, taking in various hikes, visiting unassuming Southwest Harbor! The property is large, with plenty of living space, inside and out. The big kitchen has a sweet breakfast nook which overlooks the deck, while the dining room would be perfect for a lobster feed. "Really enjoyed our stay in Southwest Harbor, this 2 bedroom was perfect for our family. Liked the location of in Southwest Harbor, it wasn't as busy/crowded like parts of Bar Harbor. It was a perfect launching point for our adventures in Acadia. Kitchen had all the items needed to make us feel at home and communication with the owner was excellent. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit the area."

"This is a basic property and perfect for having a safe and clean place to lay your head after a day of hiking in Acadia National Park. It’s set on the water (Atlantic Ocean) … no beach…. Looks like a lake because of all the little islands)…and during low tide, you’ll see people out on the ocean floor digging for clams). Staff is helpful… beds are okay…. Good hot water for showers. No microwave and bathroom vanity space is small. There were two of us sharing. Like they say…. Location matters and this property is right on the scenic road to take you to Acadia National Park. We very much enjoyed the Farmstand Coffee House for breakfast every day… 5 minutes down the road."

"The property was very clean and close to Acadia, which was convenient! The property definitely could be upgraded, but it’s still in great condition and clean! Our dogs loved it and they have an area for them to take care of their business! The gentleman at the front was very warming and offered us advice on where to go and what to do in Acadia! Highly recommended!"

"Location is perfect to walk to all of Bar Harbor, but still slightly removed from the mayhem of downtown. Very convenient to multiple Acadia entrances. Free parking. Greatly appreciated the office being open / stocked 24/7 with coffee, apple cider, oatmeal, granola bars, yogurt and fruit - very easy to grab and go for your adventures!"
