Auberge de Jeunesse de Tournai - Hostel
2.0 star property
8.4 out of 10, Very Good, (46)
"The room was nice...cozy...shower ok bathroom is outside but next door. The kitchen didn't have any cooking oil so I asked the lady at the reception if she could provide me something. She said no...I had to insist a lot so that she called her boss who told her to buy a bottle of oil at the shop in front of the hostel. She could have been more attentive and proactive. But the lady at the reception next day was really friendly."

Manoir Le Carillon dOr
7.8 out of 10, Good, (9)
"Lovely old building with pleasant grounds but the unit lacked a great deal. Firstly, no air conditioning on a 34 degree day is a huge problem for anyone. We had to ask for a fan and leave windows on ground floor open all night in order to get some kind of sleep. NOT IDEAL for safety. Kitchen facilities were lacking, no chopping/cutting board, no sharp knife to cut anything, no microwave heating bowl, slow oven top, no egg spatula or tongs, no toaster. Basics such as little bottle of oil for...

"Accueil et capacité d'hébergement: ok, machines à café et fourniture pour petit dej : ok... mais literies ayant vécu ++ , tapisseries et peintures des années 80 ayant subies infiltrations et moisissures, installation électrique dangereuse avec fils dénudés, y compris dans la salle de bains !! Necessiterait une sérieuse rénovation et mise aux normes avant de figurer sur un site de location !!"
