"Popped in for a quiet stay. Lots of walkers and bikers. Biker friendly place with nice hard surfaces. In the mountains, so lots of opportunities for winding roads. Some people even walk up in the mountains ;) Kitchen is closed on Tuesday, but everyone took pity on me, it had been a long time since breakfast. Very nice supper. Thank you :) Breakfast was a very nice buffet. Supper on the next night included an outstanding goulash soup! The rest of the meal was nice too. Room was large. Bed...

"Lovely quiet, rural area. Fabulous forestry, rocky outcrops, scenery so green. Great for walking, cycling, exploring this part of northern Bavaria. Even though rural roads, superb, easy from A to B. Staff lovely in the hotel. Spoke good English for restricted German speakers. Comfort Room spacious and clean. Little terrace with outside seating. Great views. No sound issues from rooms next door or above (we were ground floor). Great shower! But no tea/coffee facilities in room. The usual...
