"A very cool/reserved welcome. Check-in seems like an effort. Quickly settled and sat outside for a drink - went inside because the language was disgusting. The swearing inside was no better and neither was the misogynistic comments from the senior members. Good place to stay but let down by the clientele"

"It was a nice property overall, but our room reeked of cigarettes, now my clothes also smell of cigarettes :-( We booked a second room for the rest of the family and that was much nicer. Helpful staff, nice restaurant with a delicious breakfast. Beautiful sunset over the restaurant terrace."

"A excellent stay prior to a flight from Bristol Airport. Restaurant was excellent with a good selection of food and drinks. The staff made you feel welcome. Car parking was great and only 15-20 minutes from the airport. Will definitely stay again."

"I arrived after booking a room for 3 adults - a double and a single beds. Staff helpful but stated we could have choice of a newly renovated room or one we had booked. I asked to see both rooms first as outside of hotel looked terribly run down. He then proceeded to tell us rooms were actually down the road, visited rooms and renovated room only had a pull out sofa that looked extremely small for an adult so accepted other room.
