Ideal for outdoor and nature lovers, the Cheviot Hills are within easy access and offer plenty of walking opportunities. Bamburgh with its must-visit ancient castle and independent boutiques and eateries, and the fascinating tidal island of Lindisfarne, also known as Holy Island, are 10 miles away.


The open-plan living and dining room is centred around a feature inglenook fireplace and wood burner with French doors that lead out to the garden. Sink into the cushy sofas here and watch some TV as the flames warm your toes. The well-fitted kitchen is equipped with everything required for a comfortable stay. The property’s two bedrooms, a double and a twin, are tastefully decorated and boast countryside views. The traditional style family bathroom is well-appointed, bright and spacious.


Outside, guests can enjoy a private, enclosed garden with a raised decking area, garden furniture and stunning views out towards the Kyloe Hills. Alternatively, there is a large grassy area to the front. Both are ideal spots for a morning cup of coffee.
