Really interesting area full of historical sites. Well worth a special visit.






Very pleasant welcome on arrival and given very spacious room for a single traveller with very large bathroom. Room comfortable and clean. Cooked breakfast was extra, but very nice indeed.

This historic hotel has loads of character and is a marvellous central location. I would suggest that it needs some decorative TLC but my room was large and with 2 huge floor to ceiling windows that looked out onto the main street. Amazing location in the border areas of Scotland, lovely home, fully equipped with everything you would ever need, and more. Extremely roomy, good wifi, a welcome cake and Shortbread, the grounds are really nice, even has a table and chairs to sit under the trees in, only 10 minutes drive from Berwick, ...
