"Wasn’t made clear it has no reception or amenities and the building doesn’t lend its self to slow sensor lights. It was an accident waiting to happen. Room was ok, however wasn’t aware it was continental breakfast only. Had to leave early so no time to faff making tea. Curtains are not light proof and room was lit up like Blackpool illuminations. "

"Beautiful room, real demonstration of how to renovate a Victorian seafront room. Spotless, comfortable, quiet, amazing sea view. Alison and her staff were super-friendly and welcoming. Lovely breakfast. A perfect base for exploring the area. Only tiny quibble is that the extractor fan in the (otherwise excellent) bathroom is very noisy. Fine as long as you remember to close the bathroom door until the fan stops! "

"We stayed in Heron Apartment for four nights. Well equipped, clean , with comfortable beds. Communication from the owner was also good The location was perfect very central to all local amenities. Restaurants, Shops & bars.Berwick has a lot to offer with fantastic walks on your door step and the beautiful east coast a short drive I would recommend Heron Apartment to friends & I hope to return"

"Lovely flat in the centre of Berwick. We only used the car a couple of times as we could walk everywhere. Very relaxing flat I could sit and watch a seagull raising her young. Two grey balls of fluff. We also had a great view of the Coldstream Guards marching up the street and back again."
